How Much Do We Really Need To Survive?

Been checking out all the stuff in our family mansion and wondering exactly what we could do without.

There a couple of tramps who beg at the traffic lights I stop/go at near my Auction Rooms. These losers been there for over two years and they are still going strong. They own nothing but they fat and flourishing.

So I like did a survey of my own stuff and figured that like 90% of what’s in our house is just like side show crap which if push came to shove we could easily do without.

I mean you can only eat off one plate, drink out one cup, use only one knife fork or spoon.

A Jacobean Four Poster bed … at the end of the day is it better than a mattress on the floor?

Why do us earthlings accumulate such a lot of baggage which we pay a monthly premium for in insurance? How often does our house burn to the ground?

We have closets filled with clothing and shoes yet we can only wear one outfit at a time.

Wotcha think?

I know we have too much stuff. One of the advantages of moving every couple of years is you get to sort through your stuff, and jettison some of it.

Even then, it's easy to drag around more than one needs.

My wife and I once got by very well with just what we could carry on our backs.

Probably could, again, but we do like our stuff.
