The Everly Bros were icons of the sixties music scene. Their influence was as far-reaching as anyone in the period.

I learned of this & felt sad, as a child I loved their music & still do. I had a parakeet, Frisky, who would go insane with joy whenever "Wake Up Little Susie" played on the radio. He once got so excited his head got stuck between the bars of the cage! Didn't act this way at any other time, any other song! These brothers were so wonderful, talented, handsome.
