Yeah its a fruit Hope ... Not really sold in stores in the USA but as far back as 1500 native Americans in the Mississippi Valley ate them. Paw Paw juice is great with a sort of mango/banana flavour. Very good for you too.

They grow on trees like this ............

My uncle Patrice and his wife Mimi had several growing on their land in Louisiana.

Mimi could make a jam from them that was amazing.
