I’ll go first.

Personally and speaking only for myself, I spent some time in a psychiatric “facility” about twelve thirteen years ago. Here we were encouraged daily to verbalise our thoughts, frustrations, anger etcetera etcetera.

So I guess I use FG as a sort of “locked in listener” so to speak. By “locked in” I simply mean that while the Forum has a few rules, nobody like gets into your mind before you push the “submit” button and goes: “Hey dude, you can’t say that?”

So I am able to empty my mind by way of the threads and images I post and can be as eccentric, Bohemian, crazy, silly, weird and foolish as I wish. The worst that can happen is that some member calls me a “wanker” or a “tosser” or worse, whereas if I did this in real life I could well be certified.

So FG is a place where I can virtually and within reason say stuff I couldn’t say to my neighbour. I know that Bryn said this is a “discussion” Forum and it is just that, but even so I am quite prepared to just get stuff out my brain and onto the FG Forums and if I get no replies ... Tough Titty!

I’m just grateful for the opportunity to do so.

That is the good thing about it (FG / forums) though.. It's not always about replies, sometimes you just feel like posting something out in the open, or uploading a photo.

The other side of it is: if I get bored reading a thread or don't like the subject, I can just click it away! I can't click my neighbour away now can I! (I wish.. ) :wah:

Oh and why do I log on?

Sometimes it's to get something off my chest. Sometimes I like reading what others are up to in other countries etc. Sometimes it's just to get my mind off of things ..

I visit because I like it here. Simple as that.

I just come around to see what AFTR and Tabby are going to find, next.

I think for me it's the same reason I joined up in the first place. I loved the idea of a place where I could express my opinion on such a variety of things.

No bs. The internet is a big place. Facebook links to people I know in the world, and being open could cost me there. Here, I feel both anonymous and included. Of course, some here still give me sh1t for past posts. Refusing to forgive, but that 's like a family too, yes?

I log around midday. Scotland doesn't open until around 12 pm and I just like to check that gmc hasn't overslept.

If I'm online, I'm at school on lunch hour, before or after school, or on the weekends. I don't log in from home. I have a life to live.

I honestly don't log in every day .... too many other things going on but when I get the chance I do enjoy catching up with everyone. Only problem is by the time I have time to post the point is lost.

so then I say to myself. "Self why waste the time as no one will hear you."

So I then go to the arcade!
