It's actually kind of amusing to me. I feel as though I should apologize for admitting that.

I always imagined us Brits to be pretty easy going, tolerant, friendly, welcoming people for the most part. I'd even swap this hideous bunch for Justin Beiber

Driving an ARMORED CAR is great. Should be adorned with flags and symbol of Great Britain, etc. I get that.

Let's get one fact straight here...

No way In any shape or form Is the group responsible for this, Britain First, linked to the BNP.

Britain First was formed by two ex BNP members after falling foul of Nick Griffin. Jim Dowsen and Paul Golding.

Read this and you;ll see that the BNP despises the Britain First organisation as equally do, the EDL.

The only link Is that Paul Golding was elected as BNP Councillor for Sevenoaks but he stepped down In 2011 to join forces with Jim Dowsen also an Ex BNP fundraiser based In Belfast.

The BNP have nothing to do with this and anyone who knows anything about the BNP knows Nick Griffin will boot out anyone who took to the streets In anything but a peaceful protest.

I really object to this kind of journalism... either the author hasn't researched his subjects enough or It's another deliberate ploy to deter the electorate at the ballot boxes.

There are EX BNP members everywhere... It doesn't go without saying that they are In any shape or form presently linked to the BNP... because they're not.

My slant on it is......this is an area in central London,London is the capital of the England and as such English.

It doesn't matter what these 'Muslim patrols' do or say that can alter that, harrassing people on the public street as they have done, is a police matter.

Of course It's not. For one, Nick has been a thorn In the police side for some time to have ' Muslim Patrol' culprits to be arrested and deported for assault and harassing British people of the streets. He's hardly going to endorse doing the exact same thing. It's tit for tat crap and has no chance of any positive outcome.

Jim and Paul tried to get me Involved with them. I spent the day with them and to be fair, Jim Dowsen an expert on sectarian violence was an Interesting guy and good to listen to but I declined.

Because somebody is EX BNP doesn't mean there are not still members with the same ideals within the BNP, it just shows those at the top are getting getting cleverer or slimier, depending on your point of view.

Any BNP member with the same Ideals as that of Dowsen and Golding had every opportunity to join them when they formed BF... most didn't.

Out come the diggers of the dirt and the 'let's disgrace those nasty little upstart parties' brigade. It is standard procedure for the main political parties in the UK to sling the dirt like that by nasty activities, or throwing insults, or being sarcastic and trying to belittle the minor parties. The more often they can create nastiness by fair means or foul against parties such as BNP or UKIP the better - simply because they are s.hit scared of them, because the people are beginning to listen to these smaller parties as they are fed up with the lies, broken promises and lack of balls of the government and the major parties .

I'm not saying that this is what was done here, but it is so easy for a group of nasties to be planted by a major party in order to try to discredit one of these smaller parties. It is up to the British public to make a decision whether to believe this type of behaviour or not, and ask the question "Are these genuine minor party people behaving badly or are they 'plants' used to try to discredit a minor party"

I know nothing about 'Britain First' but the BF acronym could well mean something far more appropriate - 'Bloody Fools' so if these were belonging to 'Britain First' perhaps they had better be more careful in the sort of things they do ! This sort of behaviour could be construed as 'inciting a riot' surely.

They are not plants by major parties.

However, I doubt very much that the activists were Jim Dowsen and Paul Golding. More, foot soldiers of BF.... for one, only last week, Paul Golding was In police custody for harassing Anjem Choudrey.

On one level yes but we are also one of the most aggressive, violent and warlike nations on the planet. Just ask anyone from the former colonies, come to that can you think of any nation we have not gone to war with?

Gill another reason these would not be plants to discredit smaller parties, Is there would be no millage In attempting to discredit Britain First simply becaue they are not a registered political party, merely an organisation.
