Does it ever bug you? (in case you have shops that hire these people..)

When shops hire young ladies, that have orange faces, nails as long the eye can see, thongs and bums hanging out of their jeans and can't count back money .. even simple amounts.

It's bugging me that my once fav supermarket has employed only 21 year olds or younger.. Most are under 18. The age doesn't bother me as such, it's the attitude! They talk to their customer friends, 3 customers down the line. Can't count back from a tenner. And look like they have been dipped in orange paint...

Whenever I ask them for a product, they alway say: I donnow... and wander off!

Did I miss something? Is this how humans are supposed to behave these days?

On the other hand, customers can be rude too. I phoned someone today to ask if they wanted their modem swapped by post for a new one, instead of the tech appointment. Halfway through the short conversation, he started a toilet visit whilst talking to me..

Never seen anything like that.

Would be great if anything was like that near. I would drop by with my camera to amuse friends and family.

The answer Is NO.

First of all, I loathe shopping, always have and always will and nothing on gods earth would ever see my agreeing to go shopping with my girlfriends.

I order my clothes, cosmetics etc on line and prior to the Internet, I'd send my husband to the shops with a description of what I wanted. And then back again for a refund :wah: If If there was a sale offering 99 % off, I'd rather pay the full price than Indulge In a rowdy scrum.

The only shopping I'll do Is supermarket shops, this Is because my husband lacks the ability to track down split pea's or tomato puree In a hurry.

The supermarkets I use, In the main Sainsbury, do employ a lot of young people and I can say, I've never had cause to complain. They are always much helpful, polite and efficient.

What I do have an Issue with Is, after my husband collects a wheelbarrow of medication from the pharmacy fortnightly. Medication that is very stringently monitored by a hospital consultant and Issued by a hospital consultant, to find the pharmacy assistant who looks about 14 years old and with no Doctoring qualifications questioning the medication.

I do shop for clothes on the internet.. I barely ever go in to a shop for that.

but the supermarkets round here are terrible.. trout pout, unhelpful etc. the whole nine yards...

They remind me of the series; Little britain (but with more make up etc.):

Little Britain - Carol says No - Computer says No - YouTube
