Gee Wizz,
Right now if I have to pick one,
Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2
Not only do I like the piece, but the performer must have really extreme talents.

I rather like the Deep Purple Piece.
But I think my all time favorite piece is This one:
Ton Koopman's treatment of Mozart Divertimento in D Major

As you can imagine, as an impressionable youf well into my heavy metal, for one of me favourite groups to come out with that knocked me for six.
I wore the grooves out and I still enjoy it but I did eventually come to see its shortcomings when compared to the real thing.

Double reed instruments have always had the power of seduction over me.
Mozart’s Concerto for bassoon is all over YouTube but the earnestness of this particular performance is noteworthy.
Mozart’s Concerto for oboe – Allegro Aperto.
BTW. I am not a fan of Mozart, but what else could I do?

I think the word 'Classical' should be broadened beyond Bach or the other three B's and M's. As faves go Dvorak maybe but I'm expanding this little venture.

A-hem! Bach (the one to which you refer) was not of the 'Classical' period anyway. He was of the 'Baroque' period.
