So what have you been up to? It would be interesting to know what happens on a typical day in different parts of the world. So tell us about your day!

For me I'm like the title of this thread....I'M TIRED!!! LOL the weather has warmed up into the 80's and the sun is shining bright, so you know what that means for out here on the farm! For the past 3 days I've been painting my mom's house, working on the garden fence, chopping weeds out of the strawberry patch and planting garden. I'm tired and sore so today so far, I ain't doing nothing!!! LOL

I spent the week on the phone, dealing with technical problems. I barely saw the Sun, except on the occasion that Pitstop came down to my dungeon to take me for a walk. Today i am going to spend the day outside, pulling weeds and mending the fence. It's only supposed to be in the 50's, but the Sun will be out and I plan to soak up as much sunshine as I can.

I'll tell you about the day I had yesterday Hope. because I'm also very tired.

Got up at 5.30 am to do the school runs. Then at 12.15 I had the first of 4, hour long dentist appointments. Mostly due to cosmetic reasons but I had to have 4 back teeth out as I'm having Implants In them.

My GP kindly put a prescription out on the desk for me for sedation prior to my visit.

So I get to the dentist half asleep and have to say at this point that my new dentist, a Romanian chappie called Mercia was very good at talking me through everything.

The first thing was the scale, polish and deep clean which I can't bear. All that whirring and whizzing but It had to be done.

Then he rubbed anaesthetic Into my gums before putting In the needles. There was one, I swear to god, I thought was going to come out of my nose.

He got 3 teeth out but the 4 broke. In fact, I heard part of It ping across the room. He had to quite literally, dig the remainder out but fair due, I never felt a thing throughout.

I'm already feeling a right Rodney sitting there In my protective shaded glasses and bib.

He warns me that I will fee a fair bit of pain when the anaesthetic wears off.

So I go home to sleep and get a call saying they could not get anyone to cover the long afternoon school run and my charge will be stuck miles away at the school. What could I do ? No-one else could do It because you have to be badged by the council so I had to go.

We pick M up and It's two hours back to his home In Bradley Stoke and then back to mine.

My taxi driver Is hyper over some dispute with the Passport office and wants to rant all the way there and my anaesthetic Is slowly wearing off. The dentist was right as I now feel as If I've been kicked In the face by a horse.

I get M In the car and realise he had basehouse the night before and should have a suitcase with him. No-one In the school seems to know where It Is. I was tempted to leave It until Monday but his medication was In It so I had to track It down making enquireys looking and sounding like I had Bell's Palsy and also dribbling down my shirt.

We finally get on our way and M usually Is In a bad mood after Basehouse but no, yesterday he decides he wants to listen to all his music on the car hi-fi and Insists I do all the actions with him.

The first Is Tragedy by Steps... only half my face Is still numb so I'm more singing ' Twaderdwy' Instead of Tradegy.

Then Bob The Builder, Postman Pat and his black and white cat, followed by There's a mancub In my jungle with Hey Barbie let's go Party.

By now I'm In serious pain while dribbling In my lap and the taxi driver Is still ranting about Passport control.

I finally get home thinking I can go straight to bed but no. An elderly lady my husband does shopping for has had an emergency and he has to rush over there leaving me with everything especially 2 hyper dogs who missed their walks so far.

I finally got to bed around 9 pm but was awake every two hours with serious pain In my jaw. So I was up every two hours taking my husbands pain relief.

I got up about 2 hours ago. The house Is a tip, the dogs are squabbling, the dishes haven't been done but I don't bloody care. I'm watching the racing and It can all wait until tomorrow.

Back to the dentist Friday for round two.

However, when I get to M's house his Mother asks why I'm there because she knew I was having teeth out and tells me I'm a treasure and gives me an Easter Egg... that sort of made up for some of It.

Ummmm I hate to pry Lars but what's this about a dungeon? :-3

Oh Oscar you did have a time of it! OMG!!! ((((((HUG)))))) I slept until around 8am this morning which is unusual for me, and I had pancakes for breakfast....pancakes are my comfort food. I'm about to go do some laundry now but my arms are so sore it's hurts to do much of anything. I think I'll go find me some pain medication.

Oscar I just sent you a drink. After all of that I think you need one.

Even though she's your wife she's still a girl. All I know is ain't no man getting away with hitting me. I'm a farm girl, I know how to use a gun!!! :sneaky:

I went to a wedding yesterday Georgia ... The service was at a Full Gospel Church and I experienced something for the first time.

The pastor got the bridegroom to blow on a horn to like summon his bride into the church. He said that was what was written in the bible.

I was surprised to see an Israeli flag in the church as well as a couple of Menorah and a star of David on the front of the pulpit.

Was it a church or a synagogue?

Nothing special here.. Spent my day with Charlie yesterday (charlie is my baby budgie).

Oscar, my god.. I hope you feel better by now.. I had one wisdom tooth pulled in november and it felt like hell for a week.. can't imagine what you must have felt like! Hugs from Holland!

My workday is always the same, pretty much.

With baby charlie i get up a little earlier.. but it pretty much looks like this;

6.45 get up feed charlie.. and have a fag.

7.00 - 8.15 shower, get dressed, eat etc.

8.15 - 8.30 on the way to work

8.30 - 9.00 start up pc etc at work and have another fag and a cup of tea.

9.00 - 15.30 working.

15.45 - get back home, feed charlie and myself.

16.00 - 18.00 internet, watch tv, might have a nap (which i'm trying not to do anymore), doing a bit of study work

18.00 - 23.00 - feeding ourselfs, charlie 2 more times, doing things round the house + more internet / tv.

mmm... what do you mean OCD? My day is pretty much always the same on working days, down to the minute. especially the part before I go to work.

I like it that way.

(My fourteen hour daily routine)

Wake up 6:00 am. Let cat outside.

Read science fiction for 45 minutes (in bathroom, no other details necessary.)

Shower and shave.

Make bed and get dressed while watching Good Morning America

Check local weather: forecast sunny and mild...every day, forever.

Take meds, eat breakfast (Captain Crunch) feed, water, and pet cat.

Feed birds, get newspaper, kiss wife goodbye, drive to school.

Teach geometry.

Prep period: grade papers, edit digital video, process paperwork, post on Forumgarden.

Watch parking lot and lunchroom at lunch hour, solve any drama and break up any fights, play electronic Yahtzee. Ring hand bell at end of lunch.

Teach Geometry.

Teach Algebra II.

Watch parking lot at end of day, hang out with colleagues for a while, go to meetings.

Welcome after school students, send around sign in sheet. Troubleshoot programs

Teach World History, U.S. History, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, English 9,10,11,12, New Mexico History, and Biology.

Hand out snacks and juices.

Welcome Night School students to school.

Monitor tests, unlock programs, troubleshoot programs.

Teach World History, U.S. History, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, English 9,10,11,12, New Mexico History, and Biology.

8:00 pm - Clean classroom, see last students off campus, contact any parents for rides that may be necessary, lock up building.

Go to store on the way home.

greet and kiss wife, give her a present, eat dinner, read paper, enjoy a movie or a little videogame time.

Watch Tonight show monologue.

11:00 pm - go to sleep.

Repeat until death.

The pain just won't go.

Luckily, this has happened In the Easter school holidays and my other jobs, as I'm self employed, I can put off. I've been In front of the TV all day today and will probably stay here for the rest of the day.

I'm told however, this Is going to be nothing compared to when I have the Implants drilled Into my jawbone. The things us women do In the name of vanity !!!

The neighbours kids have very kindly taken my dogs for a yomp today but the rest can wait.

That doesn't sound like OCD Chloe. That sounds like a normal work day as best I known. My days are hardly ever the same.

Well yesterday I went to church....I didn't do much else because well....it was Sunday. Very interesting sermon on how Christians should look more joyful than some of us do. That death is just the beginning of another life.

Today it's been pouring down rain most all day so I haven't done much except a few things around the house. I guess that's a good thing actually as I'm still kinda sore from the other day. Am heading out now to feed the cows some feed, see ya'll later!

I guess I don't really have a typical day. For work, it all depends on what phase of a project I'm working on. Some days it just involves thinking and making a few notes for myself, other days I immerse myself in writing the software, other days I test the result and make a few changes. My office is my laptop, so it really doesn't matter where I am to do it. It could be at home or in a National Park somewhere.

Wandrin that's kinda like me. Each day is a little different. It just depends on what needs to be done on the farm, or what errands need to be run, supplies to be picked up or business to attend to.
