Working out in the yard and a neighbor/friend stops and asked if I could help him. He is not in good health and wants me to go with him as he goes to the dentist and do a little shopping.

Of course I went.

He was so slow shopping, had to remind myself, this is a good deed, not the torture of following the wifey.

Earlier that day, had to make a trip to dump. While at the dump a friend/acquaintance was there. She noticed a pair of windows in good condition, took them as she thought they would be good for her garage.

Fast forward, me helping my friend at the grocery store and, you guessed it, the WINDOW SHOPPER was the check out lady.

Sure love small towns.

That was very nice of you tude, to do a good deed for that man, good for you!

That's the thing about small towns everybody knows everybody......well even more than that, I've had people walk up to me and call me by name and I haven't the foggiest idea who they are!

Today, wife went to take our little dog a Cocker Spaniel to the vet some 40 miles from here.

Just half along the way, car craps out. I get call.

Very windy out, not safe to go really fast. Sheriff's car follows me a while then passes me. He stops behind wifeys car.

Long story short with the help of the Deputy Sheriff we get a tow truck.

Before we all parted I make it as point to get the Deputy's name just to find out his sister is a neighbor/friend.

Small world.

You're right tude it is a small world. I can start a conversion with someone I've never seen before and most times if we don't have relatives in common we at least know some of the same people.
