In my tiny little village of rural South Gloucestershire as well. Who would think such things !!!!!

I am not going to post links here as police Investigations are In progress but those who want verification can google key words for newspaper reports.

First, the taxi driver I spend so much time with as an escort for special needs children was persued and driven off the road resulting In a serious crash. He realised upon leaving his house that a Mercedes was parked up In the Crescent of our road and one was wearing a balaclava. As he left our road he glanced a shotgun and put his foot down.

They side swiped him two or three times In the next road at 70 mph approx and finally T boning him, he hit a van head head on and then ended up on the other side of the road In a wall. They are trying to trace a blond woman who pulled him out of the car as the engine went up.

He has serious Injuries and I've managed to spend some time with him In hospital. Serious crime squad are looking at attempted murder.

Then the following night, my village sealed off due to a bomb scare and a controlled explosion was carried out by the bomb squad. We've never seen so many police.

Now, everything comes In three's.... what next ?

That would depend on finding out who the attackers were.

What if they are also Muslim?

Could be Shi'a - Sunni conflict I reckon, and I am guessing that could be taken as hate crime material.

Sorry you are seeing all this in your neighborhood, Oscar. There's no doubt they want him dead. There's no doubt they planned to kill him but seeing him plough across the road Into the wall, we think they thought he was dead and sped off. It was one heck of a crash. Otherwise I think the plan was, to drive him off the road and shoot him.

Serious Crime Squad know It was two Asian men hence also Muslim.

I spend at least 6 hours a day with him on the school runs, sometimes more as sometimes we'll go shopping or for a coffee together.

He's been very nervous for some months checking his mirrors on the school runs. Yes, I know why they want him dead. He has been confiding In me for some time. All I can say here on a public forum Is that sometimes being a witness to another crime that could put someone away for 10 years Is enough to make them come after you.

I have done my best for weeks to convince him Into going to the police but he feared It would make things worse for him. Another witness had his front door blasted through with a shotgun the week prior and they wouldn't even go to the police about that for fear of reprisals.

It's all a horrible horrible mess that he has unwittingly been caught up In.

He was released from hospital yesterday and I'm the only one who knows where he's staying. He can't go back to his house until they get them which I hope will be soon because he's now told detectives everything.

Police have got the bastards last night.... Two arrests made... that's all I can say...... but at least my pal can come home to the street now.

Oh and by the way.... It did come In three's..... Following the attempted murder and the bomb, there was a serious RTA In the same week.
