Those poor parents, what an awful thing to have happen.

wouldn't your heart stop seeing a toddler heading toward the road.

Sometimes the word HERO is over used. I dunno a single word to complement what this this guy did. To ignore the child would bring some adjectives to mind.

Anyway, God bless them all.

I agree that the term 'Hero' isn't really applicable here, as it would really apply to a situation where his own life was put at risk. However, I at a bit of a loss to think of another word that could accurately describe it. Chivalrous & Caring come to mind.

It really raises the morale to see an item like that, rather than the ones where stray kids get nabbed by paedophiles & the such, never to be seen again.

Caring should be enough. The guy basically said it himself. He just did what any caring human being would do.
