It has been a nightmare in Holland.. Anywhere from 24 - 33 C.

and that is too hot for Holland.. The air feels like you are breathing in hot custard at times.. And most people have only had minimum sleep due to the heat...

I prefer the winter.. Nice and coooool!

Well, our summer, so far, has been fairly mild. after two years in a row where we topped 100 f 30 days or more, this year has been quite refreshing. We have only had one day over 100 f all summer.

and we have only seen above 90 f 16 days, so far.

All of that with humidity in the 15-30% range, has made for a nice summer.

I feel for you in Holland, where the humidity must be 80-100% most of the time.

Thankfully, it's been much cooler here today. Still very warm, but with a brisk, cool breeze to keep it fresh, instead of being so muggy.

It also helps that this morning I put the #1 comb on the shears & ran it over my head, bear. moustache & eyebrows (they get incredibly long as you get older - don't know why). With whiteness of my grey hair, which means, of course, that the hair simply don't have any colouring, and are, therefore, transparent, I'm looking more like someone who's totally bald, who hasn't bothered to shave. Sod looks, though. It feels much better in this weather (apart from, it seems, I've left a little 'pony tail' at the top centre back - although I'm told it looks quite stylish).
