This last weekend was great!

Over in Longmont, the Car Clubs had their annual rodfest.

Everything from vintage "Horseless Carriages" to the hot-looking Lowriders made the parade.

And up in Lyons, after being washed out last year by floods, the RockyGrass Bluegrass festival returned.

Bluegrass artists from around the world came to perform and put on workshops for local musicians.

I didn't take my camera to either one. but the local newspaper captured some nice pics.

Well, the latest here is a wedding interrupted.

A groom was bitten by a rattlesnake during post wedding photo sessions.

Both snake and groom survived, but the Rattlesnake was NOT invited to the reception.

"After the ceremony in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Collins, the couple stopped at Horsetooth Reservoir near Fort Collins to take photographs.

Unfortunately for Johnny Benson, 44, and his bride Laura, 33, a rattlesnake also wanted a moment in the spotlight.

The snake bit Benson on his lower leg as they walked a trail and wedding photographer Maddie Mae snapped pictures.

“All of a sudden it was like someone kicked me in the shin. Then I looked over and saw the snake sitting there, and it was rattling, Benson said.

The couple flagged down a ranger who called an ambulance to take him to Poudre Valley Hospital."
