One extreme to the other.
As to "not old enough to buy a gun", though, that much isn't 'quite' true. If it were "not LEGALLY old enough to buy a gun", that would be a totally different matter.
This piece by Billy Gilman - "One Voice" (not the 'singing in the darkness' one) is very moving and puts across a very salient message. It's not the Official video, as that one seems to have been blocked to UK viewers for some reason.
Incidentally, the song was apparently written as a tribute to the children of Sandy Hook.

I ran across that story on another site which was less forthcoming.
Me suspect there more creative writing in this story than dinosaurs and guns.
The Summerville Police Department who arrested Stone on Tuesday on a charge of disorderly conduct is disputing Stone's account of his arrest.
"The information that is being reported is grossly incorrect in reference to what led to the juvenile being charged," said Capt. Jon Rogers in a Summeville police statement released on Thursday."The charges do not stem from anything involving a dinosaur or writing assignment, but the student's conduct."
