Very very sad. I too hoped she'd get her last Christmas as she wanted.

What bravery, courage and dignity she showed.

Apparently she was quoted as being quite pissed off that she would be remembered only as the oxo mum and a loose women,, she was an actress first and foremost in her mind and she was proud of her achievements in that field and so she should be :-4

I agree with you Kaz, I saw her in one or two dramas on TV and thought she was a very good and natural actress. I always thought of her as "the friendly neighbour" type of person - an easy, laid back and unruffled sort of person. She may have cursed the fact that she may only be remembered, by a lot of people, as the OxO mum. But those ads brought her to the attention of people who could further her career, and did of course ! I will remember her with fondness and be grateful to her for just being her, and sharing her talent and bringing enjoyment to so many people.

R.I.P. Lynda. :)

I think it's rather lovely that Lynda is being remembered with such affection whatever the roles she played.
