i was at Hinchcliff Stadium in Paterson New Jersey watching a football game with my dad and his nephew who was in the Navy and stationed at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. They interrupted the 1 PM kickoff to announce that Pearl Harbor had been bombed.

I remember when I first visited Pearl Harbor, it looked so small.
Lucky for us we actually had thewherewithal to see the battle to the end.
That is why we call them the Greatest Generation

Many people who weren't there remember this day from the stories told to us by our parents & older friends & relatives. My parents saw the news on the rotating clips in Times Square, where they also saw the news of the end of the War. & of course there is the History Channel!
