Same thing happened a little while ago in a super market if I remember right, but the mother died.

Of course the gun lobby will say it was the owners fault entirely for bad practice............same people who don't like seat belts in cars, and morning after pills......think they are called..................Saints.

There is an industry trying to keep these gun carrying nuclear scientists safe...........why don't they behave?

Well it's a gun culture there, isn't it, and quite honestly I believe a lot of people do not take care of guns properly and leave them available for children to pick up ! I suppose it is one way of keeping the population down ! I am so glad that I live in a country where there are very strict laws concerning firearms. It gobsmacks me that Americans seem to be able to get hold of even big guns, guns that one expects to see on a personnel carrier, even bazookas FFS !

I used to wish that I could go to America and see the 'big country', I wasn't interested in the cities. I just wanted to experience 'cowboy country' and see the odd little out-of-the-way places that appeared miles from any human habitation ! That was many years ago. Now, since there are so many instances of random shootings all over the place, I think I'll forget about that !

The term "Gun Culture" is synonymous with America. However, the Pro-Gun Lobby will deny this to the death. As far as I'm concerned the results speak for themselves.
