A drama that started eight days ago in the cosseted seclusion of the first-class seats of a plane as it taxied to the runway in New York ended yesterday in public humiliation on the freezing streets of Seoul, when the-now-ex-Korean Air executive who halted a flight over a bag of nuts bowed in apology before a crowd of reporters.

She became enraged when a flight attendant handed her macadamia nuts in a bag instead of a bowl.

The images of this lady head bowed as she took the Korean public's disdain for her shameful behaviour, shows how different our cultures still are.

Well, I certainly expect to receive my nuts in a bowl when flying first class. Matter of fact that is the reason I try to get First class seats when I fly. I just HATE eating nuts out of a bag.
