China USA inevitable conflict ?

China’s armed forces are to extend their operations and its air force will become an offensive as well as defensive force for the first time, in a major shift in policy that will strengthen fears of accidental conflict.
They used to say if you wanted to sort out your countries finances attack America, maybe it is now China you ought to attack

My mother used to say, a long long time ago: "Comes the Revolution, we'll all eat Borscht!" & I would cry as I hated borscht. At least I like most Chinese Food. The kind I get here.

I severely doubt that any of us would like Chinese rule, though!

I can't think of anything riskier than that! China are VAST...and they seem to be catching the "expansion" trend from Russia.:-5

They,the Chinese, I understand are 'colonising' Africa.

They do appear to be getting "interested" in Africa, don't they? Not surprising really, as Africa has a lot of resources available to anyone with the "clout" and the ability to invest in, and exploit, this bounty.

China is now "strategic". The ability to project force around the world. First time in history.
Limited natural resources and the need of governments to quiet their populations is clear throughout history.
Friction is inevitable.
