Not invited to church friends wedding

I am so upset, this friend from church is having a wedding and

they have deleted me from Facebook and they only way I found out she was engaged was by a mutual friend. So I am pretty sure I wont be invited to the wedding even though this is someone I have known for years from church. And I just want to know why I wasn’t invited, and I suspect it may be because of a falling out I had with her sister where she yelled at me for wanting to crash this other mutual friends wedding a few years ago. Would it be rude to just ask why I wasn’t invited and make sure it wasn’t because of this and she hates me? When she deleted me and I asked why ( this was after the thing with the wedding happened) she said everything was fine and she was only keeping people she talks to regularly. I just want to make sure I wasn’t not invited because of her sister being upset about me wanting to crash this other person s wedding. Her sister and the former bride are trying to ruin my life and turn everyone I know against me and make sure everyone I know knows about how i wanted to crash that wedding years ago.

Hi Jashley, pleased to "meet" you!

It might be a good idea to tactfully ask your friend if they have any "issues" with you, or if you've done something to offend, apart from the argument with your friends sister. And if it is that argument that's at the root of it, ask what your friends opinion on it is. It's a starting point, I guess.

Hope you can sort it out.

I think ForumGarden's moderation team might be getting a bit bored by jashley. The account is write-only, no responses have been made to any member's replies, five threads have been started which are all echoes of hundreds of identical posts elsewhere across the Internet. I am close to banning the account unless I actually see a reply from the opening poster./adv/ - Not invited to church friends wedding - Advice - 4chan

Thanks for the heads up, Spot. Why O Why do people post this kind of piffle? What the hell's the point? I don't see any possible satisfaction.

There are times I despair about human "foibles"!

I, for one, don't believe a word that has so far been written under the jashley account. We've had other accounts in the past that have made equally bogus claims.

It's enough to drive you bonkers. A form of "spamming", I guess.

Why do they bother?

Well, thanks anyway, Spot. Saves me wasting time on rubbish!

More a matter of Trolling. Someone with too much time on their hands. Most likely the type who has no real life friends at all & spends all their time playing on some network gaming site & likes to think he can make others believe in all their poorly fantasised woes.

I, too, have seen many similar threads on here, being started as an opening post. All different names, but strikingly similar / identical in style.

Perhaps it might be worth considering, as is the case in many other forums, a rule of having made a minimum number of posts in other threads before being able to start a new one?

A "minimum posts" rule would possibly help there. Not sure how easy that would be to set up, though. Try asking Spot, he'll probably know.

An interesting site can discuss anything, even opening posts from people who are not what they seem at first sight. Or even from people who are. Why deter the opening post?

I suppose it adds to the quantity of posts, and a site would not look 'dormant' with lots of posts and threads added, whoever added them. Bound to be a reasonable idea despite the possible annoyance of some bogus contributors. Could be spot has a point there ?

It is always important to respect the rights and wishes of others.

To do otherwise would be selfish.

Pah. I tread upon the rights and wishes of others. Selfishness is the new dignified.

I don't think FG would be in any danger of looking dormant
