He's taking advantage of the fact he lives in a country where he knows the policeman won't turn round and belt him with his truncheon and bleats racism if anyone criticises his religion or opposes him. It's annoying it's people like him that might eventually cause the rise of right wing parties in the UK.

He does have a point though, however unpleasant the man might be.

I don't think he does it's not a political organisation as such It's a charity supportig injured servicemen not the war. Next you'll be saying policemen shouldnl't wear poppies or support erskine hospitals or leonard cheshire charities.

Besides this is a man that wants to bring in a muslim state and impose sharia law, tolerance is a two way street why should we tolerate bigots? If he can't respect our laws and culture why respect his.

Agreed. It's like having house guests that think it's their right to start "calling the shots" in your own home! I'm all for "ethnicity" tolerance, as well as religious tolerance, but NO ONE has the right to attempt to change the long-established customs and laws of the "endemic" culture that inhabits it's homeland. Most of these "hate preachers" are just "rabble-rousing" for personal empowerment, like many, though by no means all, religious leaders tend to do.

If foreigners don't like it here, then let them return home, rather than trying to replicate their homeland here.

Ok you have convinced me.

Perhaps we should 'do him' for hassling the police, and give the bobby some guidance how to handle such encounters

It would be a start, rather than "indulging" him.

It would be much like expecting to be allowed to open a bar in Saudi, expecting them to be tolerant of our culture. We know they wouldn't allow it, but furthermore we wouldn't expect them too. We would (or at least should) respect their observance of their own laws in their own country. They (and anyone else in this country) should do the same.

That would be sinking to his level and exactly what he wants. He's a coward picking people he knows can't really say what they think or those who can't fight back. Love to see him at an orange parade in belfast protesting then promotion of christianity when it comes right down to it our bigots are a lot nastier and violent than any muslim.

Can you give any examples/evidence to back your argument?

With the likes of ISIS, Al quaeda, Al Shabaab, busy abducting or cutting people down wholesale, and others too small or numerous to name!? "Honour" killings? Forced marriage?

Sure, we have some terrible bigots in this country, but they don't generally go around abducting, maiming and killing folk!

Except in the days of the IRA.
