how important are these words in your opinion

Respect . it doesnt cost to have a little respect for people doest it

consideration , is it wrong to expect a little in the home or work

manners in all ways politeness ? and also at the table etc

maybe im just getting old and gumpy but surely these are much to ask for in life

Some folks just don't give a damn, TJ. I was just speaking of this with some friends, not 10 minutes ago! They were mentioning people who don't pick up their dog's poop, which is the law; how they throw their trash in the street; and how, in a clothing store, they just drop a garment on the floor & don't pick it up.

Makes me grumpy too!

Consideration---treating others they way you want to be treated

Manners--have to be learned before it is practiced

Respect--most folks say this has to be earned

I've met people who have all these qualities; few who have none. I guess it depends on the circumstance.

Many folks are just careless about their trash in public places still, after environmental awareness.

I'm with AFTR on this one, as a person respect has to be earned but there is another for of respect, respect for the environment we all live in and that should be ingrained into all of us from birth.

Unfortunately, as the social gap widens those who see no hope in their future see no point in working to maintain their living space.
