It's like I've always said - and will continue to say - if every TV and Radio reporter were slinging an automatic weapon, this never would happened. But nobody is listening!

I think a lot of Americans still think they are living in the times of Billy the Kid, Butch Cassidy, Augustine Chacon, the Clantons, the James gang, etc. Perhaps they have been brainwashed by their own recent history. Seems the law of the gun is still rife in America! :-3

The funny thing is that, unlike the portrayal in the movies, in many of those "wild west" towns you had to check your guns at the sheriff's office when coming into town and pick them up when you left.

Ah yes, those were the days! When you could leave your children off at kindergarten in the morning, drop off a letter at the post office, take your family to the nearest shopping mall, enjoy the latest film at the cinema, and attend church on Sunday ¦... without the worry of a spray of bullets tearing you to shreds within the city limits.
