Here's what I just read on a Rugby Blog...

There is no way of seeing any other result than a South Africa victory by a landslide. There is just too much experience and quality throughout this team and they should put Japan to the sword with the greatest of ease.....South Africa by 45

Are we in for another mega-shock?

No. They all get ground down in the end

Argentina played very well though. Too much pressure in the end

I don't think I could pick a winner this year; all the top sides seem well matched, with their own particular strengths and weaknesses. Plus, the up-and-coming sides have all improved drastically....

Its very difficult to see past New Zealand...ever. Clearly the favourites and for good reason. Home crowd will give us a lift to at least the semis and possibly the final

That was quite a game last night. England v Wales.

England had control of the game and looked like they would ease away, being ten points in front and the Welsh suffering a string of bad injuries. But we conspired to give them a lifeline and they pulled it back after keeping in touch with some well kicked penalties. They showed great spirit under all the pressure and should be congratulated.....through gritted teeth I might add

Final score... England 25 - 28 Wales

We need to beat Australia and well now, to have any realistic chance of progressing from the pool.

Not quite for the USA. They had a very good first half against Scotland and went in at half time in the lead but Scotland pulled themselves together and ultimately had too much for the Americans and ran out 39 - 16 winners
