I see there's a caucus vote today in Iowa.
The world today needs America like it needs a hole in the head.
Vote Trump-Palin for 2016.

Blair kept getting elected - look at cameron and osborne I don't think we are in a position to be too smug.
trump might be good for america if his election politicises all those who currenmtly don't bother voting.

I hear Trump told his supporters "to beat the crap out if any protesters, and he would pay their legal bills"
Sounds like a nice guy.

Wouldn't actually surprise me, but that is hearsay.
Well, the US Presidential Elections are officially off and running after the Iowa Caucuses were lauched Monday.
With an historic turnout, Republicans seem in a relative 3-way split over Cruz, Trump, and Rubio, with Cruz holding a slight lead. 27% of Iowa Republicans voted for someone else in the rather large field of candidates. Cruz ended up with 8 delegates, Trump and Rubio 7 each. Ben Carson, picked up 3, while Paul and Bush picked up 1 each.
The rest of the clowns might as well go home.
One, Huckabee, has done exactly that. He tossed in his towel, and will now probably return to his day job. Wonder if the others will soon follow suit.
On the Democrat side, a low turnout produced results that probably only really surprised Hilary and her backers. Bernie Sanders took nearly half the votes, and the two split the delagtes nearly down the middle.

So what does it make on the Democrats side, coin flip to choose between an aging socialist or Bernie Sanders?

Well, I have an affinity for aging Socialists, myself.
