Looking (Hunting) for a new car these days is very exhausting! For the past three weeks I've been looking for a new car, in the newspapers, Car dealerships, & oh ya, the net! I used to like going to the dealerships, but not any longer.
(Dis-like car dealers)
I must have looked at over "10,000" cars on line, both new & "pre-owned".
Many nights I have been on line from 7 or 8pm till past 3am, till my eyes were very blurry. Well I finally left a deposit on a new car today, that I will test drive again on Tuesday. (Persistance does eventually get it done!)

Buying a new car or shopping for one is my least favorite activity, partly because I have never really been into cars, and secondly I'm mechanically challenged. My last new car was purchased via the net (1992 Camry XLE) and was a delightful experience. Checked out prices everywhere for this particular vehicle and when I was convinced the price was right, bought it on line and then went and picked it up from the dealership.

Isn't that funny? My wife told me, "I just got a new car today, why don't you come down and pick yourself one too?"
I got up, went down to the dealership with her, looked for about ten seconds, spotted a bright yellow 2002 Chevy S-10 crew cab pickup parked in the corner and told her. "I like that one."
Total time spent looking: 15 minutes.
Amount spent that day: $40,000 cash.

Wow, how ever did you do that? I need to see all the models out there, and then anaylze them for the best value for the dollar! Another Engineer's curse, always cost conscious & value oriented!
