This is the country whose citizens jailed the bankers and told the eu to f-- off we're not bailing out the banks.
I've always had a feeling that our basic attitudes to justice and equality and readimeness to tell figures of authority owe a great deal to our celtic and viking heritrage.
No danger David Cameron will resign I suppose.

Don't anybody hold their breath waiting for any unpaid tax to be paid.
It's a simple question the answer yes or no.
Cameron was asked directly whether he or his family had benefited from the offshore Blairmore Holdings fund mentioned in the Panama Papers and established by his father, Ian Cameron

The weasel-wording from so-called David Cameron's spin team is getting more strained as each day passes. How can he have been so witless as not to clean himself up before he became an MP?
The party will be well rid of him this summer, even if he survives in office beyond the next week.
What an embarrassing prat the man is. I'd rather socialize with Rebekah Brooks than this one, and that's really scraping the barrel.

It rather implies that he has benefited in the past - what was the inheritance from his father's estate for instance and how was his education paid for.

The thing is they could actually stop all the tax evasion of they wanted to, it's got niothing toi do with waiting on europe. You tell amazon pay tax on UK business or cease trading in thsi country, same with starbucks and all the rest do you really thin k amazon would leave one of their biggest markets and if they di there would very sopon be rival businesses iopening uop that are not handicapped by amazon having a trading advantage. It's not good capitalism to allow cartels and tax avoidance by companies it disrupts fair trade and harms the host countries. If qwe did it how soon do yiou think evrfybody elkse nwould be in following. Britiah comp[anies trading in america don't get away with it why dop we let american copmpanies get away with it here? Here, from the BBC, is the timeline of statements on behalf of so-called Dacid Cameron:
- Asked on Monday whether she could confirm that no family money was still invested in the fund, Mr Cameron's spokeswoman said: "That is a private matter"
Then in an interview on Tuesday, Mr Cameron said: " I have no shares, no offshore trusts, no offshore funds, nothing like that. And, so that, I think, is a very clear description"
Downing Street issued a statement later that day: "To be clear, the prime minister, his wife and their children do not benefit from any offshore funds. The prime minister owns no shares. As has been previously reported, Mrs Cameron owns a small number of shares connected to her father's land, which she declares on her tax return"
No 10 then released a further clarifying statement on Wednesday, saying: "There are no offshore funds/trusts which the prime minister, Mrs Cameron or their children will benefit from in future"
On Thursday the PM told ITV News: "We owned 5,000 units in Blairmore Investment Trust, which we sold in January 2010"Cameron offshore trust row: PM accused of 'hypocrisy' - BBC News
It is the wriggling of a fork-tongued snake. It is exactly why what the man says or releases on any topic is unworthy of trust. Each statement is accurate, one assumes, but is also a deliberate attempt at deception.
Bloody Blair was no different. Both men have killed with impunity because they dispense with ethics in this way at the drop of a hat.
No politician should be allowed to continue in office after this sort of exposed inadequacy when it comes to communicating honestly.

The Dacid is a typo.
The "so-called" is because our gimboid Mr Plastic Prime Minister insists that every mention of Islamic State or ISIS or ISIL be prefixed "so-called", a completely meaningless attempt at an insult. So I'm using it on him, equally meaninglessly. It's his name. David Cameron. Putting "so-called" in front of it is as meaningless as saying "so-called ISIS".
I don't want his resignation this month, it's too early for Boris to get his job. September will be fine, thank you, after which so-called David Cameron can get his retirement directorships and become Peace Ambassador for Libya. He broke it, he can be told to fix it, not that he's capable.

I would prefer everybody called them Daesh.....
That new name is ‘Daesh’. If you've followed coverage of this attempted official linguistic sea change, you'll have gathered that the new name, although it’s just an Arabic acronym equivalent to the English 'ISIS', apparently delegitimises the organisation, mocks them, and thus drives them to threaten taking violent retribution on anyone who uses it.

If they're so insecure as to find the use of an acronym, rather than the full title they would prefer to see used, to be so demeaning then by all means, let's use it as often as possible.

Actually the inheritance tax bit is just standard practice a lot of people do the same thing and it's distracting from the real issue which is the money in an offshore trust that did not pay UK tax the capital gains tax is only incurred when money is brought back to the UK. How much of his education etc was paid for from the profits of tax avoidance schemes run by his father. Where did the money for the initial investment come from. How much of his inheritance is held for him in offshore trusts.

The word hypocrite refers to the fact that he says one thing in public and does another in private, it's nothing to do with whether he breaks the law. If I'd been suggesting that he broke the law I'd be calling him a criminal.
I think being instrumental in destabilizing sovereign states should be a criminal offence, but that's another matter entirely. This thread's talking about taxation.

Of course he hasn't broken the law - he just changes the law to suit himself.
Kudos to Dennis Skinner though. Getting ejected from the House for referring to Cameron as "Dodgy Dave" (an accurate term) & sticking by his principles not only by refusing to withdraw the remark, but by repeating it.
In an attempt to shame him by kicking him out of the House, the Speaker has elevated his level of respect in the public eye.

The Speaker merely CHOSE to apply the rule - and he chose to apply it to apply it to a Labour member. Tories have been guilty of far worse insults & have got away with them unchallenged. However, one must not forget that before becoming Speaker, John Bercow was (an presumably still is in his own constituency) a Tory M.P., so there is no real doubt where his sympathies lie, despite the 'official' view that the Speaker has to break all allegiance to their own party.
Cameron has been dodging tax. That much has been demonstrated & admitted as being fact. Therefore the term "Dodgy Dave" is not only appropriate, but demonstrably accurate.

Do you know, there's not a single aspect of that paragraph that I'd recognize as honest. John Bercow is a thorn in the side of the Conservative administration, it's why he was elected Speaker in the first place on a free vote of the House. His sympathies blatantly lie with the backbenchers. He applies the rules of the house impartially and rigorously. In my opinion he's the best Speaker the House has had in my lifetime.
the term "Dodgy Dave" is not only appropriate, but demonstrably accurate.
I suggest you look up unparliamentary language. Neither truth nor accuracy has anything to do with the matter.

Cameron had been shown to be dodging paying his taxes. He is, therefore, dodgy.
Dodgy [doj-ee]
1. inclined to dodge.
2. evasively tricky: a dodgy manner of dealing with people.
3. Chiefly British. risky; hazardous; chancy.
(Dodgy | Define Dodgy at Dictionary.com)
Seems pretty descriptive of Cameron on all counts.
