Finally, from the hell-hole that is Domicilliary Care I've finally got me a decent position in Customer Service with Utilita Energy.

Well if you were here in Alberta ..... you would be dancing in the streets at having a job. Ugh just this week stats indicate 45,800 jobs lost over the past year.

Our provincial population is a mere 4,300.00.

I'll wager most of those jobs were petroleum related. We saw a similar downturn here.

Yes Petro related indeed Lars, it is tough living in a Province that is so dependant on 1 main natural resource.

I come from a family of O&G workers, I am second generation O&G dependant family member, worked it all my life, and 2 years ago I finally got out of it and have never looked back.

I could go on and on about the misery of this industry, but then I would have to start bashing our current Premier whom I consider a %*()_% idiot. But ce est la vie, who am I but a mere voter who did NOT vote the twat in.

You can't blame the problems with the industry on Trudeaux. He just got in. O&G has been a hardcase since the last oil boom ended in the 80s.

I mean our premier Notley OMG I am embarrassed with voter ignorance in this province. The Notley Party is NDP, we in Alberta have been strict conservative for ages, we have watched NDP take down our neighboring provinces, BC is just now recovering from their past shenanigans, yet our voters here don't seem to do their research.

Well, I take SOME poor comfort that my country is not the only republic on this continent to suffer ignorance among the voting populace.
