A museum in America has installed a fully functioning solid gold toilet.

What museum, where is it? I would still wipe the seat with a cleaning product. I carry paper towels for such occasions. People can be so messy & disrespectful.

Saw this on the news today. Although it is functional, it is on exhibition & not for use. It is there to look at only.

That reminds me of a rather hilarious happening some years ago in our nearby city. I happened to be walking by a bathroom/kitchen retail shop, which had large display windows either side of the entrance doorway. As I passed by one of the windows that had on display a rather expensive top-of-the-range bathroom suite, I saw a very small boy of possibly 2 years or so old, sitting very purposefully on the rather luxurious 'loo', trousers round his ankles. It was obviously a very serious situation because he had a beefy red face and seemed to be concentrating hard ! One can imagine what he had left in the 'loo' bowl. No I didn't go into the shop to check it out. but I did wish I had a camera with me ! This very small boy was 'centre stage' and seemed oblivious of the fact that people walking by the window would have a wonderful view of him during his performance ! :yh_rotfl :yh_rotfl :yh_rotfl

How funny! But not for the boy if someone reminds him of the incident years later.

Is cleaning it a chore or privilege?
