Normally I'd say if it looks too good to be true, it is. But CNN and Bill Gates in his philanthropist guise are enough to make me double take. edit: is it really them or just people pretending it's them?
Worth keeping an eye on, for sure.

I had a look at both sites and I'm not happy about it.
Firstly I noticed that neither site is a straighforward URL. By that I mean that CNN is typically CNN - Breaking News, Latest News and Videos and their articles are generally at EDITION.CNN.COM whereas this site is M-CNNPLUS.COM. So I went to the CNN site and searched within it for the article - no such article found.
So I searched for scam notices relating to it all, M-CNNPLUS.COM flags all sorts of alarms, it's a totally new site (less than a month old) and only registered for a year etc. The "broker" site they point to is "use with caution", etc.
Then I registered on the second site to see what it was like. It was trying to take credit card details on an unsecured page which was odd and it didn't offer any privatised payment options such as PayPal which was worrying.
All in all I don't think I'll be trying it any time soon.

If you ever read an article about Gates, or searched for anything related to him, "Bill Gates" becomes a valid reference for ads, and as soon as that reference showed up in someone's page, somewhere in the FB universe, it became fair game for anybody on FB who ever showed an interest in Gates. (at least until someone posted a complaint against it.)
