I don't see where one has to do with the other. I am all for border security, 100%. My problem with Trump and his wall idea is it is not the most efficient way to protect be the border.

As soon as the news of the earthquake came through, I felt bad about thinking it, but the immediate thing that came into my mind was just that. "We're gonna build a wall, and it'll be a great big wall - a beautiful wall..." - but also the Biblical phrase, "The Trump(ets) blew and the walls came tumbling down".

Here's a thought....the "wall" is proposed to stop illegal Mexican immigrants from entering the USA. All they would have to do is apply for the appropriate documentation. However, the victims of the terrible earthquake are innocent Mexican citizens, so, of course, we as a country should send our condolences and support. Two separate issues. JMO
