Where do all the earring backs go? Is it like an elephant's graveyard?
Twice today I've lost the back of one earring and I can't find EITHER
of them! I've looked all over the floor, checked to see if they're stuck
in my hair or a fold of clothing or a shoe... and nothing. Yes, I know I
can go buy more and they aren't that expensive but it's sooooo
frustrating! :-5

ohhh Val, i can sympathize and empathize~:-1 ~~we have all this brass and insignia on our uniform shirts and the little thingies that hold them in place, called dammits because you always lose them and your brass is just hanging there by one little dammit.......grrrrrrrrrrr well i certainly feel for you! :wah:

Check the vacuum cleaner, probably that nasty little noise last time you cleaned in that area were the poor earring backs-that is what always happens to me!

I confess - my Dog took them! She's a very bad girl where earrings are concerned.

No she just loves earrings....... took a one carat diamond earring off a salesman one day and swallowed it. He wanted me to dig through her you-know-what to find his earring. I told him to be my guest.

So how in the heck did she take it off a salesman.......... Was it in the bedroom when his guard was....... UMM down or up...?

Now BTS you know how much my dog loves to lick. This ahole really wanted to sell me so he got down on his knees to pet the dog - she started licking his face and BOOM the earring was gone.

Val and Ladycop -In an emergency situation only: Use the eraser off the end of a pencil, if you wear you hair semi-down no one will notice if its up split the little eraser in 1/2. It wont matter for ladycop because the end is on the inside of her uniform.
-Just an idea

-Just an ideayep, i am infamous for sneaking into my sergeant's office and breaking off all his erasers...this is what he says about me...:-5 .......last Christmas i bought him a huge supply of those big gum erasers and gift-wrapped them, caused a bit of hilarity in roll-call/briefing! poor guy says i am the cause of all his grey hairs. :wah:
