Why don't they... (mini-rant!)

Make the tubes in pump dispenser containers go all the way to the
bottom?
I have two large bottles of hand cream that have about a half inch of
product in the bottom, and no real way to get the rest of it out! Short
of cutting the things open and leaving them sit on the bathroom counter
'till I finish the stuff up in a coupla weeks... nope. I even tried balancing
one container on top of the other for 24 hours to let gravity do its' work...
still no help. I think the manufacturers do it just so you have to buy
more, sooner!!

Val, that is one of my biggest peeves, too. I bought a bottle of lotion once from my tanning salon that was $24. That is an outrageous price to pay for lotion, but I was spoiling myself, so, screw it. Funny thing is, I did exactly what you suggested there...I cut the bottom off, there was still 1 1/2 inches of lotion in there!...and kept the bottom of the bottle in a ziploc bag. I used every last speck of that lotion.

Val,
This drives me nuts and as well. I turn the damn thing upside down and use every last drop. I have been know to cut them open to get to the hand cream. I refuse to throw that much away. :-5

-You guys crack me up , seriously, the toothpaste thing, I will send you a tube of Crest toothpast for goodness sakes.
-The salon tan lotion, girl, $$$$$$$ I hear ya, I paid $50.00 one time only. Birthday gift to myself, I have rhuematoid arthritis and the tanner feels soooooo good. I was tempted to lick it out with my tongue. JUST KIDDING.

I keep the bottles upside down when they start to run low (the pumpless kind) for my tanning lotion, and I get every last little drop out of it until I have to get another. Those bottles cost too much, but the tan is always worth-especially in the winter time.:-6
