Very easy recipe !
Very delicious recipe !
You will need :
Roasting Pan w/ Cover
Boston Butt Roast
Apple Juice
Worstechire Sauce
Brown Sugar
Oven at 400 deg.
I dont use measuring devices for something like this so do what feels good.
Place the roast in the pan
Drench with apple juice
Use Worstechire generously
Cover pork w/ brown sugar-press it in
Thats it folks !
Cover put it in the oven then turn temp down to 200 deg.
Cook for about 5 hrs. checking twice to make sure liquid is in bottom/ if not replenish w/ apple juice
When the roast is tender you will know
Pull it apart w/ 2 forks or shred it with your fingers
I use potato buns for sandwiches
You can add bbq sauce near the end if you wish but its sweet and tasty the way it is.

Just a quick note to us Brits, the recipe says 400 deg that is Farenheit, this is from the bitter experience of a man who tried to cook a Turkey in New York one christmas on what the oven said was 180deg which is 82 deg C, therefore after two hours a good vet could have got it back on it's feet!!
400 deg F is 204 deg C

Far Rider wrote: OK Nomad I make pulled pork in the smoker outside... your idea is great and Id like to offer you a dry rub that will add to the flavor next time you do it try adding this dry rub to your pork after massaging in extra virgin olive oil.
1/2 cup ground black pepper
1/2 cup paprika
1/2 cup torbinado sugar
1/4 cup salt
4 teaspoons dry mustard
4 teaspoons cayenne
Mix all ingredients in a plastic bag then shake vigorously.
The olive oil helps form the crust on the pork, the rub keeps the moisture in the pork!
Have fun with it, its good on baby back ribs too!
Far.
Thanks Far Ill try that on some ribs this weekend
the Cayenne & dry mustard sound like a nice combo !

There's a perverse pleasure in having two threads with the same title running concurrently.
I'm bumping this because of Nomie's opening post with the recipe. I never heard of an American cooking with Worcestershire Sauce before, and I've never seen his potato buns either.

Try "Pick-a-Peppa Sauce" in place of the Lea & Perrin.
