I've noticed that if one doesn't actually log out before leaving, FG thinks one's still here.

I'm guilty of not logging out. Half the time, my computer freezes if I try.

I mean, I assume LC's not online right now, but she shows up on the list. so do the newest spammers, and I'm sure they're not hanging around.

FG should it be like this? can you not get a time out so if a user is inactive for 15minutes they dont show as logged in? or is there a system like it already but its malfunctioning?

I used to stay logged on all the time, because if i logged out & then
back on it showed no new posts, so missed what had been going on.
Since the format has changed i dont have that problem.
As for my light being off when i'm on, that's because i have on my
cloak of invisibility.

Mink,
Once you log in to FG it doesn't matter if you turn your machine off your still logged into FG. Yes if you leave it on and the kid go to the site they will be able to read so that could be a concern. A login is a login it stays that way till you log out, and you can be logged in from any machines any where and it doesn't matter. But your correct once logged in your kids could read at the site..

and if someone know your machine login at work they could go to FG and read as well.

Now here you have uncovered ONE good reason to log out! I personally never do though. My children are too young to be nosey yet!

Ive been down that dark, rocky, winding, branches hanging down in your face and you need a machete to get through, hey what was that noise, did I just step in poop, road before buttercup !
I do a system restore when it happens and it usually takes care of the problem.
