I have a flat screen Monitor, brand PROVIEW that I bought from Fred MEyer (maybe my first mistake) about a year ago. Suddenly, and I mean that literally, It has red streaks through it. I was off line for about am onth. When I turned it on first time it worked fine, but the next time I turned it on the red began. Sometimes it will run for awhile and the streaks will go away. And sometimes they come back! I have checked all the connections, unplugged it from the electricity and re plugged it in. hit it a few times, just about everything I can think of short of buying an ew monitor. I REFUSE to believe that this one is gone after only a year. Help anyone???

Thanks..it IS the monitor. I went to the tech today and he said he has four in the back room just like it. Motto: Don't buy a PROVIEW..it only had a 30 day guarantee, should have been a clue.
