Most used gadget apart from toaster, kettle etc......

My V Slicer.

This is the most useful and simple tool....slices veggie and salad stuff thick, thin and with the zig zag bit. it 'chops'. I am on my third one because one went blunt and the second one broke when i dropped it on the floor...oops.

Worst buy....something called 'The rocket chef' and a so called 'healthy grille' (bit like the George Forman gadget)...now back in the box in the loft.

My hubbies a sucker for TV shopping...he's banned from watching now.

My best kitchen gadget is my gas stove/ electric convection oven. It has 6 burners - 4 at regular flame and 2 at sautee. I can cook 2 turkeys or 1 turkey and several other dishes. I slept with it the week it arrived. I have a warming tray....makes bread rise and keeps things warm. I am the cooking fiend from hades. If I can afford it - it's MINE bwaaahaaa. I can't even go into all the gadgets I have but my stove is my favorite. Sometimes I still give it loving pets for a job well done. :-4

I had a kitchen slicer, much like yours Bez. But since I moved, I can't find it!! I'd have to say my least used would be my George Foreman grill. Sitting in my pantry, collecting dust right now.

On the humorous side... already had a George Foreman grill, still in the box. But somehow, I've acquired another one! Found that also in my stuff from the shed!

I've had that before, buying something that you think is a good idea, only to find out that you already have bought it or something similiar before, and had been left in the garage to gain dust.

I love the new blender that I recently purchased. Things like worms, spiders, beatles and other insects can be blended with orange or pineapple juice to make a lovely nutritious protein cocktail.

Ummm.. lets see.. 15 years as a chef.. nope..no kitchen gadgets.. mandolins are nice for thin slicing and shredding... kitchen aid mixer with various attachments.. and that is about it.. no fancy knives.. or anything along those lines..

guess you can call me a minimulist cook....hahahahaha....
