Hi, everybody. Just joined ForumGarden a few minutes ago, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I've got to remember to bookmark the URL, so I'll be able to find my way back!

I'm glad to see the membership is as diverse as it is.

I'm 52, living in Baltimore in the U.S. Unemployed due to disability. Never been married, no kids.

The posts by people living in Great Britain remind me of my trip to London in 1999: first time I'd ever been there. So exciting! Had always wanted to go to Merry Old England. Granny was a Londoner, (Hackney,) and Mom was born there, even though she grew up here in B'more. Their old neighborhood was destroyed in the bombing of London, though rebuilt since then, of course.

Just sailing by the old Tower of London gave me the creeps! I can't imagine what it's like to tour the inside!
