Hi all. I hate to rain on the parade and bring lousy news, but I need some positive energy.

Ox, one of the brothers, is losing his wife to lupus. She's only 32 and he's just 24, too damn young to be a widower. Leslie, (the wife) has been battling her lupus for 3 1/2 years and just this past week took a turn for the worse. We were all up at the hospital last night for hours, just waiting and today they will be taking her off life support.

Just need some good vibes so I can help my brother today. He's gonna need it.

(For those who don't know, this is a brother in our M/C, not blood, but family just the same.)

That is so tragic, BR.

But you're there for him and that's what will help him through his pain, the love and support of his family. You can't take his suffering away but you can catch hold his hand when he needs it. As you will, I know.

I'm so sorry, BR. I'm very familiar with this horrible disease, one of my

sisters has it and my best friend of 33 years died last November because

of it. Yes, she was a "sister", too, in any way you can think of someone

being a sister and much much more than just a friend. I hate lupus.



I will send positive thoughts your way, and his. I think leaning on anybody

and everybody is the only way to get through something like this.

BR's friend just passed away, she said to say thanks to all and she'll be back soon.
