Thank you everyone! Wow, was I surprised when I saw this, lol.

Yep. A little girl, 7 1/2 lbs, 19 inches, full head of hair. She was ready!

Everyone's fine, smooth sailing throughout, dad did wonderful. I don't have any pics of the baby yet...everyone kept getting in the way!!

Thank you again for the well wishes.

As for what I'll be called, that hasn't been decided yet, but I'm sure it will be an improvement over Bitch. Hey, what ever the little cutie can pronounce is fine with me. I used to call my grandmother Oma (german). I'd like that. But grandma is just as good!

They are all at home now...doing just fine although Mom has to rest up because she had a c-section. No pics yet, I'll get one up when I can.

Home already? Wow. Pretty soon, the HMO will require justification for the pregnant mom to even come in for the birth! Just set up an internet camera & let the doctor ... I mean the nurse ... 's aide talk you through it.

lol. Actually the doctors had her scheduled to come home later today, which would have had her in the hospital for a full three days. For some reason my DIL decided she needed to go home yesterday....I guess to 'start' life. Whatever. I would have stayed. Sent my husband home. Taken my time. But I guess they are in a hurry to begin and I'm quite sure my son is tired of sleeping on the chair.

Remember the old days? You go in the hospital, the father hands out cigars, goes drinking, the mother gets lots of rest, feeds the baby, gets more rest for three days with the father bopping in and out to hang for a bit, bring flowers and some good food? Well, those days are long gone.
