Yes, I'm referring to the English series with Chris Barrie and Craig Charles as Rimmer and Lister. I heard a rumor that they're making a movie either this year or next, has there been any word on that lately?

Craig Charles who plays Dave Lister plays a character in Coronation Street at the moment.

Oh I love Red Dwarf - undoubtedly one of the funniest shows around, (along with Monty Python.) I was sure that they started filming on the movie like years ago, so I'm surprised that it's still in production.

Anyone remember the episode in Rimmer world and all the little Rimmer's singing on the rollercoaster :wah: That was hilarious!!

I must admit I pefer Little Brittan and Peter Kay

I love Red Dwarf. I've seen the first 6 seasons. One of my favorite acronym's comes from red dwarf:

Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society.

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised to learn that there are at least two female

RD fans here. All the women I know don't like it.

I can see why, though. My frequent Dave Listerish behaviour gets me into all sorts of trouble with the GF.

It sure is! You might even be able to get the DVDs at the library, although I bought them at Best Buy. They're still releasing seasons onto DVD so they're a little pricey if you buy them instead of just renting them.

The other day I pulled a Kryten and announced "lie mode" out loud right before I denied some outlandish accusation made to me by a friend. I was a little sad because he didn't get the reference. I love Kryten, I think he's my favorite character.

I love the one where the cat changed into Duane Dibbley the duke of dork,

that was hilarious.

I'm afraid to say that being a 'Dibbley' has become something of a catchphrase in our house! lol

I have spent some years being addressed by a bunch of so-called friends as "Duane" and never known why until today.

I had no idea that RD was still running. I'm off to catch up on the last 5 seasons.

Watched the first of the brand new episodes the other night ..... Haven't they aged? lol didn't realise a droid could put on weight lol
