The "where did you get your handle" thread made me think of this. Some people like to use the same name repeatedly, some people use different names everywhere. Some people just use their first name and say that's that!

Do you have a list of other internet names, and if so, what are they?

I remember back in the diz-zay I was "TMNTProud" because I really really liked the Ninja Turtles a lot.

Then The Boyfriend invented a teeny bopper nickname for me since I really hated the whole teeny bopper thing at the time and he wanted to irritate me, so I became lollipopdollface. *shudder*

Lately I've been using StephoGroove, which came about after I'd spent a lot of time on a friend's couch...so much time my butt left a groove! I wouldn't let anyone else sit in it.

I go by robinseggs because my name is Robin and have always had bird connotations attached to my name...even used to draw a little bird by my name when signing things!! I am 36 but a child at heart. So I thought robinseggs sounded cute! I've been asked, but it has nothing to do with my fertility although I do have 3 children!!! lol.....

In the 80's pre-internet days I called myself RedMan on the various BBS's due to my red hair and the fact I'm a man (how original). Little did I know that most of my online friends thought I was a tobacco-chewing hick. Redman is a famous brand name of chewing tobacco.



This is my first forum since then, and the only one on which I am Accountable. Since here, I check in on 2 other forums from time to time. Look for PHD Donkey; that's me. :-6

nvalleyvee comes from living in the north valley of my old city. There happened to be many nvalleys's so I added the vee for the first initial of my name - Vanessa. I tried to change it a few years ago but I am sooooooooo uncreative every name I wanted was taken. I'm stuck and happy with this screen name. Forever NV to FG.

LOL! I too am a Robin. But living in a place where that is predominately a blokes name......I have to keep reminding folks, that where I'm from its mostly a GIRLS name!

But the name raven evolved from a play on my name when I was with my ex. Revans. After the split, the natural progression was raven....not to mention that I love edgar allen poe stuff. Being the little dark and morose spirit that I am.....

My real name is BERYL....I've never liked it...it's a North of England name and really old fashioned.....Youngsters at work call me BEZ because there is a bit of a culture of abbreviating names...SHAS for Sharon, MATT for matthew, TRACE for Tracey etc. I didn't mind so stuck with it.

Some places I am Bezbart....combination of 1st and surname. How i wish I had been more creative like you guys. I think I would have chosen 'Humming bird'.....maybe not...shortened = humming - mmmmmm...maybe not.

I have thot about this one a lot. When somebody's name doesn't make sense, you just hafta wonder. I'm Nuthrday because I was trying to get a Yahoo name that somebody didnt' have, and also one that was anonymous. After several tries I told myself mentally that it was just another day playing the net game. I like it. On the only other forum I am on, new people think I'm a man lots of times; doesn't bother me tho because it makes me feel a little more anonymous that way! (a silly game, since it's an adult site!)

I have gone by Lonnie & Al. Have used cyclops, kiwidid & trojan on line. I've been called Ron, Ran, Ronnie, Alonzo, horsebud, hey you, dip stick and a host of unmentionables.
