Well, that's no surprise he was made a justice of the Supreme Court-who is going to be the Chief Justice now?

It was a good move on Bush's part, but sure to bring lots of flak from the Bush Basher's.

Alright. Now they (Congress) need to quit the cheap stuff and get him seated. The court won't be in session until they do.

I don't think Nino wants it anyway. I think he likes his roll as tormentor of the liberal justices, a role he couldn't effectively play as chief. I think Roberts is well suited to the task and with him replacing a conservative Rhenquist rather than a moderate O'Connor, the Dems have less to complain about. It was a smart move.
