Well as much as it pains me, though this gets less and less painful, I have to say something good about my ex.
I am turning in my van at the end of this month as the lease is up. Well we shared that vehicle for 3 years and it was well travelled and I scuffed one side of the rear bumper and he mashed the other. He caught all the pebbles that cracked the windshield I took the KM's up over the limit. So all in all we did about half and half of the wear and tear on it. This thing is in his name, but I insure it and currently drive it. So to make the story short, I spent the weekend stewing about turning it in, and me myself being responsible for the buy out fee. Or whatever it is the leasing guys will charge me in the end. Sooooooo the ex gets wind of me turning it in and offered his help, he will look after selling it, he will put the advert out there, he will allow any perspective buy to ride it (as a single female he thought it best he handle it) and he offered me his car to use while doing so. Technically I am in a win win situation cause if we sell this, we pay out the lease company (only damages as the lease was paid off ages ago) and any extra money from the sale the ex and I split. So worry free for me and his kindness was such a pleasant surprise. Some days I would like to hate him but that often seems to be a waste of energy and as time goes along and wounds heel, he is showing signs of trying to be kind so I guess I can do so back. Yay to him and his help to me.
