Hey Gang, October is breast cancer month, get out and support. To do their part here in the America's M&M's are selling packs of pink only candy. I think that is awesome.
Breast Cancer has touched the lives of most of us here and I hope you all can make it one of your supporting causes.

My mothers neighbor rows on the breast cancer dragon boat team and she wore a t-shirt last year that said "I am rowing in support of my neighbor Joy" that being my mom. That still touches my heart.

How old was she when you were born?:wah:
Assuming she is now 80 you are blessed indeed. I'm very thankful for the advances made in the treatment of cancer. My wife does the walks frequently and I have assisted.

I think this refers to a person who has beaten cancer beginning their life from when they were fully recovered. Raven's mom beat cancer 8 years ago, so that's when her new life began. Is that right?

LOL!! She was 18. She's been free of cancer for 8yrs now. They do the walks every year. She still goes to support meetings and everything. She had a real tough time with the chemo, but she made it.:-6 (I shouldnt say...but she is 61)

:wah: I didn't expect you to actually tell me. Now everybody knows what I dummy I am. 8 years...that's wonderful. As I understand it she has a real good chance of being free from cancer now. Is that right?

Is that right?2 years is considered cured, but if you make it to 5, the chances are higher that someone who's never had cancer will get it, than for you to get it again.
If that makes any sense... grammar failed me.

Hey thanks sweet. your da best.
On the cancer clear, gosh I hate to prove you wrong unless you meant specific like breast cancer. My ex father in law had cancer, he remained clear for 9 years yes count them 9 years, then one april while on holiday in the USA he started to feel bad, so bad he could not drive home he had to fly, he went into the hospital and they diagnosed him with everything under the sun, June they told him it was cancer, opened him up to remove it, and closed him right back up, he was inoperable. August he succumbed to the cancer. Hate to be the stormy rain cloud but with cancer, you never ever can be sure.

We are haing a PINK day in October at work. Anyone can wear an item of pink clothing (male and female) and we will do a collection for Breast Cancer. Our normal uniform is Navy blue so it will be fun to 'lighten' up a bit.

Went to another DR visit. Looks like insurance may not pay for my reconstructed boobie to get fixed. I was told to do some exercises that resemble putting it in a vice grip. The DR wants to see me in a month.................I am LMFAO now. How do you vice grip something very hard???? :-5 I'm sorry I'm getting personal but GEEEEEEEEEEEZ. He actually told me to have BTS get on his knees and work this boobie out...I can't wait to tell him....

I really hate being disfigured but I'm not as disfigured as I was 21 months ago.
