Your step sis and family will be in my thoughts and prayers....such a noble thing to do for our country. How hard it must be to adopt and then have to leave so soon! She is making history and for that we are ALL proud!

Sending the very best wishes & prayers to your step sis! :)

It's not fair, that they keep "inducting" & sending the guard personnel, of whom most of them have families & careers they have to leave. Why don't they just send the "regular" Army personnel. You know, the one's who "inlisted" & are looking for action!!! :-5

I just got this e-mail from my dad. Great News !

I just want to let you know about Dee. She was stationed in Mississippi for training. The military decided to keep her here in the states to run the support program for the families of the one's sent to Iraq. She came home last Saturday. She is stationed in Brooklyn Park, for 18 months. She can come home at night. She will be doing things like helping the families with Ins. Hard ships Support What ever might come up. She will have meetings once a month for the families that would like to come. Also She will be the one with the Chaplin to tell the family if something happens to the solider. She has to do all this by her self, no is working with her.
