last night i had about had it, a large bunch of illegal aliens have moved in next to me and are living like pigs, grocery store shopping carts all over their yard full of beer bottles and trash. so i went over there and busted them. now, once again, i have to live next to people i have arrested. this group is also a bunch i busted for shoplifting. now i am trying to determine if they will pull some crap or if they will lay low. there have to be 15 of the illegals living in a two bedroom. i had one word to say to them when they pretended not to speak english. GREEN CARD. they understood that. i am sick and damn tired of illegals. we have thousands of hurricane victims/citizens needing jobs. bring back the WPA. fire the illegals. give Americans jobs rebuilding.

you're right, it's a lifestyle. they did not know a cop lives next to them. now they are all freaked out. oh well, i don't care and i will call INS.

If we aren’t going to protect our boarders then lets spend the money being used to patrol them on free English and citizenship classes.

I think NM might rival Florida in the illegal department. They pi$$ me off. I work for a global insurance company based in Iowa.

the nightly cleaning crew has 84 people. every single one of them is Illegal.

nearly every empolyee of the cleaning company (sounds like Sermice Vaster) is illegal. some 600 in Des Moines, alone

I interview people from abroad a lot in my job....I am very careful that they have all the right paperwork....I'm in a lot of trouble if I let someone through the net.

well this was astonishing! the 17 illegals livng in the two-bedroom next to me had their electricity shut off for nonpayment. there are always beer bottes laying around, so they have some money. they all appear to go to housepainting jobs. so they sent a couple over and kept banging on my door. would not quit. finally i answered and neither of them spoke one single word of english, but they signaled to me they wanted to plug an extension cord into my power!!! can you believe that???

Saying "every single one" with such certainty, why haven't you reported them yourself? Would there be some kind of repercussions?

nothing should shock me anymore, but the illegal cockroaches came over here this morning, extension cord in hand and accosted my son about plugging into my electricity! this after i already told them an emphatic NO!! my son is 6'5" and these guys are little...he just yelled NO and they scurried off. i talked to the house owner after that, they said they were going to handle it. we shall see, they never handle anything but cash.

Isn't that harassment? Isn't living without power a health hazard? I would think a few phone calls are in order. :sneaky:

@#$%&*#$@!!!! What part of ILLEGAL doesn't our government understand? There was a time when our country was young and we needed every hand we could get. Some of the greatest inventions of America have come from immigrants...but let's get one thing straight.

Those people came to America to become a part of it. They learned the language, they took the citizenship classes, and they pledged allegiance to our constitution and values.

Most of today's immigrants have no intention of assimilating. Even third generation Hispanics in California can't speak English. They overload the resources and hospitals. They don't pay any taxes, and they force government agencies to print everything in two languages further costing the taxpayers.

What we have here is Balkanization. These ethinic communities don't want to become a part of America, they want to build their own little country inside of it, and that will sooner or later lead to violence. In Serbia, it led to genocide.

Well the time has come. We don't need any more people in our country, our population is fine now, the frontiers are settled.

It's time to close the borders and seal them.

there are over 200,000 illegals being held in American jails... wonder what that is costing? INS has to pay those facilities to hold them for deportation.

i am so mad i'm shaking. the landlords did absolutely nothing. and tonight at 11 PM the "music" is shaking my windows. so i marched myself over there and screamed at them through the window (they couldn't hear me knock) to TURN IT DOWN!! now these guys have no way to know i am not still on the sheriff dept. but i am really starting to worry about the possibility of slashed tires, etc. i can't afford anything like that. i can only hope they are chickens*it little bastards. i will call a cruiser out next time.

As Jives says, “what part of ILLEGAL doesn't our government understand?” It simply baffles me. Why isn’t the law being enforced? Is the law unenforceable? Have we lost control? How close to total anarchy are we?

I don’t care where immigrants come from or what language the spoke there. I welcome them completely as long as they will come here legally with the goal of becoming Americans.

Sorry about your neighbor problems, LC. Hmmm.....any kind of "creative" solution here? Have you tried contacting every agency in the city government... code compliance? Water and power? Health? Sic 'em all on 'em , I say!
