I'm not what you'd call well versed in the art of forum membership, this being only the second I've joined. But I'm looking forward to meeting other members, sharing ideas, conversing on world events, etc. I live in Australia, on the east coast. I was born in the US though, Chicago. Love it here, except for the heat. I work long hours so don't have much time to socialise. Three kids, two dogs, two cats, no fish. Love reading, when I get the time, especially Terry Pratchett... very funny man. Love most sorts of music, with the exception perhaps of heavy metal, although I do like a couple of Metallica's songs. I'll listen to anything at least twice to see if I like it. And on that note...

Hi Ambi....good to have you here...You'll have lots of fun here at FG. There is something for everyone and if you have a problem of any sort the guys and gals here are just awesome with their support and advice...anyway...welcome and enjoy.

I always have to go to bed when everyone else in chatting, :-1 I often stay up till one in the morning just so I can be with FG members. and during the day everyone else has gone to bed.

Well I don't mind admitting I am wrong occasionally, I'm just so excited to have someone in my time zone, but where has Ambi gone? probably Nomad scared him off.:-1

Come back ambi, there's only one Nomad (although I recall there were two for a brief spell last week).
