Hello folks. This looks like a nice place for general loitering and stuff. :)

I'm a lawyer. :-3

Actually, it's worse than that. I'm a divorce lawyer. :sneaky: I've heard every lawyer joke ever told so don't even go there! ;)

I live in lovely Cornwall in the UK - land of King Arthur, clotted cream, pasties and teenage surfers from Bolton who can't surf or swim but who look good in a wetsuit.

In my imaginary spare time, I love to read, hike on Dartmoor, watch crappy movies whilst eating lots of chocolate and debate the spiritual meaning of existence. I also read the Tarot for myself and my friends.

Looking forward to seeing you around!

Thanks for the welcome (you guys are quick off the mark!)

I'm female, Pina. Very ladylike and genteel. *snarf*

Hey Betty! Whereabouts are you then, my loverrrr? I'm based in Saltash, so only nominally in Cornwall. I do have a Meibyon Kernow sticker in my car window, but only because I was afraid someone would puncture my tires for being a Devonshire gal living over here.......;)

Ooops, have I used a naughty word already ? 'Pologies :o I do so hate walking into internecine pasty wars.......

Ohhhhh, I get it....an American friend warned me against using the word pasty....isn't it some kind of bizarre mammary clothing article over there? :D

Bez - yes, I've been known to do cyber readings. But you have to concentrate very very hard..........( by all means pm me sometime if you'd like one.)

Welcome to FG, Yavanna! You sound like a real interesting sort, I look forward to hearing more from you!

What sort of info do you need to do a cyber reading? Sounds like it would be rather difficult.

Hope you hang with us for a while! :yh_peace

A cyber reading needs the readee to concentrate very very hard on the cards they want me to draw and the questions they have at the forefront of their mind (although note - tarot cards also bring up subconscious motives and feelings). I then draw the cards for them and lay them out in the appropriate spread.

I haven't done many cyber readings to be honest because people prefer the face-to-face method - but hey! I'll try it if anyone wants to give it a go! (I remember that phrase got me into trouble once but that's another story.......;) )

My, my, you're all so nice ! Is it some plan to lull newbies into a false sense of security before getting us to do something outrageous, like miming a Celine Dion song on a webcam or something? :p

I should have kept quiet about the lawyer bit - it's just that I believe folks need fair warning that a bloodsucking parasite on the back of society is around. Minks, I hope your particular bloodsucking parasite did a good job for you.....if there's one thing I hate more than other lawyers generally, it's other lawyers who are bad at their job. They give the rest of us a slightly worse name.

So....who are the flirts around here again ? Far Rider has already identified himself as a harmless one (where's the fun in that, eh ? :-2 )........who else is there to watch out for/shamelessly flirt with ?

Quasimodo ? Is that....could that possibly be you ? My baaaaaaaaaby! Did you grow out of your hump ? :D

Randall, no, it's a myth that all lawyers are rich. Along with the myth that we're all cut-throat pirates of the high courts. I am in fact very fluffy and poor. Ahem.

Rapunzel, I do my own Tarot readings all the time and have never found that to be unlucky. Or maybe that's the reason my bath sealant fell apart at the weekend.......
