Can't reitre early....

I had hoped to retire 6 months early but I talked to our pensions expert at work and if I did retire early....even 3 months...I would lose the bonuses that come with the policys and would also pay penalties. Must say I'm a bit disappointed as I was hoping to start my retirement at the beginning of the Summer 2006 rather than in the Autumn. It's a good job I took advice.

I guess what I want to do is retire from the job I'm doing, get a part time job in a totally different field and spend time with my grandchildren....new one due any day....Pension is tied up with the company I currently work for. I certainly don't want to sit on my butt...there are just so many things I'd rather be doing.
